Kayla Marie Hardin, 31 of Dupo, Illinois; born on October 10, 1994 in Belleville, IL.; passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at St. Louis University Hospital St. Louis, MO., after a long battle with Leukemia.

Kayla was an artist in her eyes. She enjoyed making others laugh; loved dancing and watching scary movies; had a passion for lottery scratch offs; and loved her two dogs, Duke and Daisy.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Carmen "Wayne" Morris; Grandfather Elmer Touchette and an aunt, Amy Hardin

Surviving are mother, Jewelee (Jimmy) Touchette of Dupo, IL; father, David (Robin) Hardin of Chattanooga, TN; her siblings, Rebecca (Cody) Powell of Bardstown, KY, Danielle (Mark Crawford Jr.) Touchette of Dupo, IL, Derrick (Morgan Ragsdale) Hardin of Dupo, IL, Tyler touchette of Millstadt, IL, Nick Fair of Omaha, NE, Shelby Fair of Chattanooga, TN and Gavin Fair of Omaha, NE; her paternal grandparents, Robin and Phil Fox of Fairview Heights, IL and David (Lisa) Hardin, Sr. of Evansville, IN and Steve & Vickie Becker of Ocean Springs, MS. her maternal grandmother, Jerilee Garrison and Debra Touchette of Ashley, MO., nieces and nephews, Raegann, Kenedi, Colten, Cooper, Rylyn, and Jordy. Kayla was also a dear niece, cousin, and friend.

Memorials may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation or Ronald McDonald House.

Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon.  Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, Illinois

After the commital services the family wishes to invite everyone to the American Legion in dupo for some lunch and fellewship.
