Kathleen "Kathy" Cassady, nee Burke, 75, of Cahokia, Illinois, born August 13, 1948 in  East St. Louis, Illinois, died Monday, October 23, 2023 at Mercy Hospital -South in St. Louis.

Kathy was a retired License and Title Clerk. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Cahokia, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillian, nee Miskell, Burke and a daughter, Heather Cassady.

Surviving are her daughter, Theresa (Gary) McFadin of Waterloo, IL and two granddaughters, Elizabeth McFadin of Waterloo, IL and Meghan (Mark) Enskat.of Mascoutah, IL; and three great grandchildren.

In following Theresa's wishes, a private cremation was to be held. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.
