Obituary

Justin Joseph Koppeis, 34, of Columbia, Illinois, born August 23, 1983, in Jefferson City, Missouri, died Saturday, March 3, 2018, at his residence.

Justin was employed as a Property Manager at Admiral Parkway, Inc. of Columbia, IL. He was a Journeyman Carpenter with Local 660 and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia, IL. He attended both Columbia and Gibault High Schools.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Kopie and Lucille Koppeis and maternal grandfather, Earl Saylor.

Surviving are his three beautiful daughters, Addison, Reagan, and Harper; a step son, Bryce Raby: his parents, Joe and Patty, nee Saylor, Koppeis of Columbia, IL and his grandmother, Carol Saylor of Columbia, IL. He was also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends and his beloved dogs, Maggie and Elsa.

In lieu of customary expressions of sympathy, memorials my be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Education and Activity Center Building Fund.

Friends may visit from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, Illinois. A Mass of the Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church, with Monsignor Carl Scherrer and Deacon Mike Burch officiating. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, Columbia, Illinois. Arrangements were handled by Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.
