June A. McFarland, nee Indermark, 98, of Cahokia, IL, born June 10, 1923 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Edwardsville Care Center.

June was retired as head cook at Cahokia High School for many years, She is a lifelong member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Cahokia, IL, and a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Caseyville, IL. June was active in Ladies Aid in the church, and was learning how to play the organ. June loved caring for her dog Silky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh McFarland; her son, Terence McFarland; and a daughter, Sherry McFarland.

Surviving are her daughter, Cathy (Pastor Jonathan) Winterfeldt of Cahokia, IL;daughter-in-law, Jeanette McFarland of Maryville, IL;. two grandsons, Shawn (Sheyla Grullon) McFarland of Florida and Patrick (Angela) McFarland of New Baden, IL; three great grandchildren; Ethan, Jackson and Janelle. June was also a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 7, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Braun Family Funeral Home, 265 Quarry Rd., Columbia, IL.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Jonathan Winterfeldt officiating, Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville,, IL
