Judith "Judy" K. Busche, nee Craig, 74, of Waterloo, Illinois, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born September 7, 1943, in East St. Louis, Illinois, died peacefully at home with her family at her side on Monday, October 16, 2017.
Judy retired from USDA – CSC in St. Louis, Missouri in 2004. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waterloo in Waterloo, Illinois.
Judy was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was everything to her, especially the grandchildren. She enjoyed getting together with friends and family, and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Ruth, nee Gold, Craig; sister-in-law, Carol, nee Zeigler, Craig; brothers-in-law, Edgar Sauls, Harlond Busche, Vince Wilshire, and Clyde Busche; sisters, Vera Sauls and Melba Wilshire; mother-in-law, Mayme, nee Fehrenz, Busche.
Surviving are her husband, Ron Busche, whom she married June 24, 1961; three sons, Jim (Renee) Busche of Troy, Illinois, Tim (Cindy) Busche of Manchester, Missouri, and Jon (Lisa) Busche of Waterloo, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Meghan, Shelby, Corey, Shayna, Taylor, Hannah, Alyssa and Hailey Busche; one great grandson, Sawyer; sister, Barbara (David) McCoy; brother, Billy (Cindy) Craig; aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Judy's family would like to thank Dr. M.S. Rao, Dr. R. Griesbaum, and Dr. R. Kraeger for the care that they gave her over the years.

Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October, 19, 2017, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2017, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois with Jim Trantham officiating. Interment will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Illinois.
