Joyce Ann Marie Gummersheimer, 60, of Cahokia, IL, born June 24, 1957 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in Cahokia, IL.

Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Jo Ann Gummersheimer, nee Stepp; step mother, Dolores Gummersheimer, nee Robinson; and two aunts, Luann Riebling and Betty Jane Cole.

Surviving are her father, Willard "Bill" Gummersheimer of Cahokia, IL; a step sister, Debbie (Keith) Vahey of St. Louis, MO; a step brother, Ernie (Shana) Aubuschon of Lake of the Ozarks, MO; and an uncle, Don (Elaine) Gummersheimer of Steelville, MO. She was a dear aunt , great aunt, cousin and friend.


Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, IL.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Mr. Dewayne Ray officiating. Burial Valhalla Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
