Joseph Lee Tatham, 81, of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born October 3, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri, died Friday, December 24, 2021 at his residence.

Joseph was a retired security officer and former lawn care specialist.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Tatham, nee Arnold; his parents, Buel and Roma Leona, nee Wilkerson, Tatham; a sister, Bernice "B.J." Hardester; two step sons, Edgar Boggs, Jr. and Robert Boggs; and a daughter-in-law, Glenda Boggs.

Surviving are his wife, Nora Juanita "Nita" Boggs-Tatham, nee Dougherty; a daughter-in-law, Judy Boggs; five grandchildren, Eric Boggs, Julie (David) Watkins, Jeremy Boggs, Molly Boggs, and Maggie (Justin) Ludwig. He was also a dear great grandfather, great great grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle cousin, and friend.

Friends may visit from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2021, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Burial will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
