Joseph Michael Mitchell, 63, of Pacific, Missouri, born December 29, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri, died Thursday, August, 30, 2018, at his residence.

Joseph was retired from the Chrysler Corporation in Fenton, MO. He was a member of the United Auto Workers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lude and Rosemarie, nee Vollet, Mitchell; a long time girl friend, Patty Morgan; and three brothers, Roy, Wesley, and Stan Mitchell.

Surviving are two brothers, Raymond "Butch" Mitchell of St. Peters, MO and William "Woody" (Deborah) Mitchell of Cahokia, IL; a step son, Dale Morgan of Cedar Hill, MO; a sister-in-law, Madeline Bucherich of Dupo, IL and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
