John M. Vunetich Jr. 55, of Dupo, IL. born April 17, 1966 in Belleville, IL. passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at his residence.

John was formerly employed by PTI Transportation out of Evansville, IN. He loved watching all sports and playing video slot machines. He was an avid golfer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Barbara Vunetich Sr. and his grandparents.

Surviving are his daughter, Bailey S. Vunetich of Dupo, IL and her mother, Montana M. Vunetich, two sisters Cindy (Kurt) DePoy of Jacksonville, FL, and Debbie (Phil) Argus of Arnold, MO; nieces and nephews, Corey (Justine) Argus, Brittany (Frank Shadwell) Argus, Brendan DePoy and Travis DePoy. John was a dear friend to many.

Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Braun Family Funeral Home 265 Quarry Rd Columbia, IL. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Jim Jarvis officiating. Private cremation was held.
