JoAnne Edna Gamache, nee Cates, 76, of Imperial, Missouri born November 28, 1941 in Saint Louis, Missouri, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at her residence.

Mrs. Gamache formerly owned Day Photo Studios, in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and enjoyed every minute spent with her family. She had a special love of music, birds, sunsets and was an avid baseball fan.

She will be fondly remembered by her husband of 44 years, Roland Kenneth Gamache; her two daughters, Angela Cates and Christine Derryberry; her grandchildren, Danielle (Ben) Winkler, Connor, Emma, Katie, and Timothy Derryberry; her brothers, Gary and James Cates; brother-in- law, Jack Eime; sister- in- law, Marlene Brown, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura, nee Coffman and Joseph Cates; her sisters, Marilyn Wager, and Debra, and Georgia Cates; her brother Larry Cates; sister in law, Rita Cates; brother- in- law, Ronald Gamache and his wife Jacqueline; sister- in- law, Gloria Eime; and brother in law, James Brown.

Visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2017 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
