JoAnn Knight, nee Robinson, 86, of Belleville, Illinois, born March 15, 1940 in East St. Louis, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

JoAnn was retired from Lennox Handbag Company in St. Louis, MO. She attended Anchor of Life Assembly of God in Belleville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Knight; a daughter, Angela Kasban; a son, Charles Kasban; her parents, Eugene and Ethel, nee Hewett, Robinson; her brothers, Arthur, Howard, Orville, and Emil Anderson and Jackie and Bobbie Robinson; and her sisters, Frieda Brown, Louise Mooney, Betty Antoff, Doris Onstott, Melba Pathenos, and Patsy Rodgers.

Surviving are her sons, Charles (Jill) Kasban and Todd (Amber) Kasban of Belleville, IL; and four grandchildren, Charles Kasban, Taylor Burgess, Madyson Kasban, and Angela Kasban. She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026 at the funeral home with Pastor Wesley Hart officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
