Jewel R. Davidson, 93 of Cahokia, Illinois, born on June 12, 1925 in Penrod, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at his residence.
Mr. Davidson was a U.S. Navy and U.S. Army veteran. He retired as CEO of Vocational Training Center in St. Louis, MO and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dupo, IL.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Casaundra Davidson: his parents, Burrough and Orel, nee Matherly, Davidson; a sister, Del Tully; and two brothers, Walt and John Davidson.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Norma Davidson, nee Davidson; his children, Reverend Jack R. (Michelle) Davidson of Los Angeles, CA., Deborah L. (Ron) Oestricker of Cahokia, IL., Daniel (Kerry) Davidson of Kimberling, MO. and Catherine Davidson of Pacific, MO; his grandchildren, Ronnie, Rich, Elizabeth, Jared, Noah, Benjamin, Christopher, Melissa, Krystal, Danielle, Nicole, Kari, Caleb, and Paul; and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Dupo, Illinois. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 p.m. with Reverend Roger Reid and Reverend Jack Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
