Jesse "Bubby" L. Norman Jr., 71 of Waterloo, IL, passed away peacefully at his home on August 4th, surrounded by his loving family.  Jesse was born November 4, 1953 in DeSoto, MO.

Bubby was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of Teamsters Local #682 and the Centreville Men's Club.  He retired from North St. Louis Lumber in St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Monica, nee Coleman, Norman Sr.; sister, Alice Mary Shaw-Jefferson; brother-in-law John Jefferson; and nephew, Brian Carrier; father-in-law, Richard Gore.

Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, Brenda Norman, nee Gore; son, Richard (Heather) Norman of Waterloo, IL; two granddaughters, Hailey Norman of Columbia, IL and Paisley Norman of Waterloo, IL; a brother, Paul (Laura) Norman of Scottsville, Kentucky; three sisters, Ella Patterson, Nancy Konopka and Brenda Watson all of Plano, IL; mother-in-law, Betty Gore, nee Banks and his furry companion, Moose Man.  He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bubby's memory to Helping Strays in Columbia, IL.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Braun Family Funeral Home Columbia, IL. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Michael Patterson officiating.
