Janice D. Delaney, nee McCasland, 88, of Sauget, Illinois, born August 28, 1938 in East St. Louis, Illinois, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026 Bria of Columbia, Illinois.

Janice was retired as the St. Clair County Clerk and was formerly employed by the St. Clair County Levee Board. She served on the Village of Sauget Board of Trustees and formerly on the St. Clair County Board. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Belleville, IL and the St. Clair County Democratic Club.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Patrick Michael Lubus and her parents, Bill T. and Dorothy, nee Hallows, McCasland.

Surviving are her children, Patrick (Cindy) Delaney and Kimberly Delaney, both of Sauget, IL; her grandchildren, Anthony (Alyse) Delaney - Mazzola and Meghan Delaney; and her great grandchildren, Ireland Lubus and Francesca and Josephine Mazzola and very many friends.

In following Janice's wishes a private cremation was to be held. ACelebration of Life Service will be held in the future. Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois was entrusted with the care of Janice Delaney.
