Jane D. Cummins, 85 of Freeburg, IL, born March 14, 1938 in Belleville, IL, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023  at Freeburg Care Center.

Jane lived a long full life surrounded by her loved ones. She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet, she showed up for you when no one else would. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Daniel Cummins; parents, Leonard & Cleo Erwin, nee Winifred; daughter, Jessica Schafer;two brothers, Leonard Erwin Jr. and Leroy Erwin; two sisters, Gladys Farthing and June Allen.

Lovingly remembered and survived by her son, David (Nicole) Cummins; brother, Donald (Helen) Erwin; grandchildren, Arianna (Nathan McDonald) Schafer and Brianna (Alex) MartinDelCampo, Tyler Schafer, Justin Schafer and Zachary Cummins; her great grandchildren, Jordan Kinkade, Carson Kreamalmeyer, Aleanna MartinDelCampo and Maya MartianDelCampo, Jameson McDonald. She was a dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Graveside service will be held at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery St. Louis, MO.
