James "Jim" K. Pinta, 67, of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania passed away October 27, 2021 at home after putting up a good fight since his fall in August of 2020.

He was born on July 17, 1954 in Alton, Illinois to Paul and Dolores (Wilkins) Pinta.

Jim graduated from Cahokia high school in 1972. He missed being on the lake fishing in recent years, but enjoyed eating at Steak 'n Shake and watching the St. Louis Cardinals baseball games.

Jim is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cheryl (McFadden) Pinta, his son, Anthony (Lonica) Pinta, and granddaughter, Ariana Pinta. He is also survived by his sister Sue (Joe) Rieken and his brothers David and Cory Pinta.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his nephew Todd Pinta.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Braun Family Funeral Home Columbia, IL. Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 PM with Reverend David Pinta Officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Nebo Cemetery at a later date.
