James "Jimmy" Marvin Ogden, 61, of Sauget, Illinois, born September 21, 1959 in Centreville, Illinois, died Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at his residence.

Jimmy was employed by the Village of Sauget. He enjoyed playing his guitar; watching fireworks; and he had a big interest in helicopters.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Darla Ogden, nee Farney; his parents, Marvin and Boneva "Bonnie" , nee Cranford, Ogden; and a brother-in-law, Richard Blevins.

Surviving are his sisters, Beverly Blevins of Highland, IL and Barb (Don) Scheck of Sauget, IL; a step son, Travis Hicks of Millstadt, IL; and his precious cat, Yoda. He was also a dear nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at the funeral home, with Pastor Tony Ye officiating. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois
