Obituary

Irvin Ray Bell, Jr., 80, of East Carondelet, Illinois, born September 5, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri, died Saturday, September 11, 2021.

Irvin was retired from Raskas Cream Cheese in St. Louis, MO and was a U. S. Air Force veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Cahokia Knights of Columbus and the Fifth Street Billiards in Dupo, IL.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Bell; his parents, Irvin R. and Jewel, nee Camp, Bell, Sr.; a brother, Donald Bell; and a sister, Marlene Wiggins.

Surviving are his step children, Ricky Hubbard of Dupo, IL, Ronda McClure of East Carondelet, IL, and Susanna McAllister of Dupo, IL; a brother, Marvin (Pauline) Bell of San Antonio, TX; a sister, Anita Newton of Cahokia, IL; four grandchildren, Timmy and Tomas Maier and Andrew and Jacob McAllister; and a great granddaughter, Addison Maier. He was also a dear uncle, cousin, and friend.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon an Monday, September 20, 2021, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home, with Pastor Larry Ridenour officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
