Holly Jennifer Catanzaro, 52, of Columbia, Illinois, born December 31, 1973, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

She was formerly employed by the May Company, St. Louis, MO. She loved to sing and play games on her phone. She was a big fan of the TV show SVU. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children. Holly was a parent who was always by her children's side. Anytime her children wanted to play, she would try her best to have fun with them. She tried to accommodate for them, even though she was always in pain. As a mother she honed the skills of patience and understanding.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Hope Alexis Campos; all her grandparents.

Surviving are her children, Michael A. (Ashley) Craig of Mascoutah, IL and Amira J. Campos of Columbia, IL; her parents, Roger and Theresa, nee Bohannon, Catanzaro of Columbia, IL; a sister, Mia (Tim) Happy of Belleville, IL; a granddaughter, Emilia "Emi" Craig. and a niece, Alyssa Happy. She was also a dear cousin and friend. As a person, she was selfless. Holly was generous to everyone, but herself. When it came to getting a gift, she never wanted anything gaudy or grand. Just someone's existence was enough for her. If she had all the money in the world, she would give it to her loved ones.

Her personality, as well as her skills, could provide all one needs. Holly's skills for cooking were fueled by passion. A knife was only a secondary weapon compared to her wits.

In following Holly's wishes a private cremation was to be held. A Celebration of Life Service will be planned at a later date. Braun Family Funeral Home in Columbia, Illinois was entrusted with the care of Holly Catanzaro.
