HENRY L. BORTH, 84, of Granite City, Illinois, born April 9, 1933, in Granite City, Illinois, died Sunday, June 18, 2017, at Autumn Meadows of Cahokia, Illinois.

Henry was retired from SIU-Edwardsville. He was a Korean War U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Granite City, IL and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by a son, John H. Borth; two daughters, Debra J. Condor and Dorothy L. Borth; his parents, Lloyd and Pearl, nee Atwell, Borth; and his two brothers, John and William Borth.

Surviving are his loving wife of over 65 years, Marjorie "Marge" Borth, nee Gregory; a daughter, Diane (Jeff) Goodrich of Cahokia, IL; a son, Jimmy Borth of Arkansas; an "adopted son", Bill (Sherri) Paolucci of Granite City, IL; a nephew, Dennis (Donna) Borth of Hartford, IL; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; two fur babies Chole and Suzie. He will also be sadly missed by a sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In following Henry's wishes, cremation was to be held. A burial with Military Honors will be held at a later date.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017, at Calvary Baptist Church, 3000 Washington Ave, Granite City, IL 62040. A Memorial Service will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jesse Tedder officiating.
