Glenda May Latta, nee Clark, 96, of Belleville, Illinois, born July 29, 1929 in Clarkton, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 7, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Charles Edward "Eddie" Latta; her parents, Tilford and Thelma Juanita Clark; and four children, Charles, Brian, Richard, and Daniel Latta.

Surviving are her children, Michael (Linda) Latta of Harrisburg, NC, Judith (William "Sonny") Travis of Summerfield, FL, Juanita Marlow of Belleville, IL, and Karen Latta also of Belleville, IL;a daughter-in-law, Sarah Latta of Kinmundy, IL; twelve grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

Born an only child, Glenda always said she wanted a dozen children.  She gave birth to eight and raised seven. Her family and her faith in God was her joy and strength. Her memory will always be cherished.

Memorials may be made to the American Stroke Association or Heartland Hospice.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the funeral home, with Pastor Larry Ridenour officiating.  Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
