Gerard Robert Breslin 71 of Columbia, IL. born April 25, 1948 in Boston, MA., passed away on December 4, 2019 at Mercy South in St. Louis, MO.

Mr. Breslin served in the U.S. Army for 3 years and then served in the National Guard for 22 years and retired as Major. Formerly employed by the state of Massachusetts as disability agent. Last employment was at Allsup Incorporate in Belleville, IL. as senior claims representative.

Preceded in death by his infant daughter, his parents James & Esther Burridge, Breslin. Brother-in-law Hap Goslee.

Surviving are his loving wife of 19 years, Judith Breslin nee Anderson. his children, Jeffrey Breslin of Denver, CO., Christine Allen of West Swanzey, NH., Tiffany (Corey) Ellis of Pawtucket, RI., Jared (Jordan)Sennott-Seltzer of Los angles, CA., Sean Sennott of Providence, RI. 1 sister Carolyn Goslee of Indian Rocks Beach, FL. 7 grandchildren, Kara, C.J., Eric, Arianna, Sierra, Susan, Tyler. Gerard was a dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Memorial gathering will be held on Sunday December 8, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Braun Family Funeral Home 265 Quarry Rd Columbia, IL. Services will begin at 4:30 p.m. with Father LInus Umoren officiating.
