Geraldine "Gerry" Cook, nee Latta, 87, of Belleville, Illinois, formerly of Red Bud, Illinois, born March 25, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital In O'Fallon ,Illinois.

Gerry was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cook Sr. and two sisters, Celestine and Dora Latta.

Surviving are her children, Melodye (Leland) Stamm of Red Bud, IL, Carla (James) McGuire of Columbia,IL, Tim (Pam) Weber of Fults, IL, and Keith (Sherri) Weber of Florissant,MO; seven grandchildren, Erin (Kurt) Schmoll, Ryan Stamm, Craig (Cheryl) Sanders, Jamie (Paul) Bibb, Steven (Beth) Weber, Michelle Pherson, and Ethan Weber; 10 great grandchildren. She was also a beloved step-mom, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Snows in Belleville, IL or the American Heart Association.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Braun Family Funeral Home in Columbia, IL. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
