Eva D. Franke , 82, of Edwardsville, Illinois, born September 7, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri, passed on Sunday, July 30, 2017, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Franke; parents, Herschel and Daisy, nee Fletcher, Gruver; a brother, Robert Gruver; and two grandchildren, Lisa and Lee Jenkins II.

Surviving are her children, Peggy Campbell of Greenville, IL, Lee (Kathy) Jenkins of Edwardsville, IL, and Debbie and Bonnie Franke both of Caseyville, IL; two sisters, Delores Long and Maryanne (Wayne) Little both of Freeburg, IL; four brothers, David Roedersheimer of Rockport, Larry Roedersheimer of Carbondale, IL, Daryl Gruver of Mount Vernon, IL, and Larry Gruver of Campbellville, KY; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was a dear aunt, cousin and friend.


Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.

Funeral Wednesday August 2, 2017 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Sam Hand officiating. Burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri
