EUGENE BONIFACE WNUK, 82, of Cahokia, Illinois, born May 29, 1935 in DuBois, illinois, died Friday, January 12, 2018, at Integrity Healthcare of Columbia, Illinois.

Mr Wnuk was retired from A & P Food Stores and Lohr Brothers Distributing. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and attended Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans of America; the Polish Falcons; and V.F.W. Post of St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Boniface and Leona, nee Jeorss, Wnuk; two brothers, Charles and Nick Wnuk; and four sisters, Delores Harold, Bernice Sanders, Rose Mary Trost, and Leona Cooper.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Angeline Wnuk; a brother-in-law, Jack Cooper; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois. Funeral procession to leave at 9:45 a.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2017, from the funeral home to Holy Family Catholic Church, Cahokia, Illinois, with Father Marvin Volk officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
