Elma C. Bastin, nee King, 82, of Sauget, Illinois, born October 16, 1936, in Trumble County, Kentucky, died Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Bastin was retired from Cahokia Nursing and Rehab Center. She loved to fish and crochet. Elma also loved antiques.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Bastin; an infant son, Lloyd Ray Jones; an infant daughter,Evelyn  Kathleen Chadwell; her parents, Robert and Anna Pauline, nee Schoots, King; and a brother, Robert "Sonny" King.

Surviving are her two sons, Walter (Tami) Chadwell of Moore, OK and Michael (Saundra) Jones of Cedar Lake, IN; three brothers, Kenneth "Sug" King of Warsaw, KY and Charles Geisler and Wayne Ward , both of Madison, IN; two sisters, Bonnie Davis and Suzanne Smith, both of Madison, IN; four grandchildren, Daniel, Stephanie, Ashley, and Aaron; and five great grandchildren.  She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.

A private burial will be held at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
