Ed Cassady, 75 of Waterloo, IL, formerly of Cahokia, IL, born November 23, 1946 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.

Ed was retired from BiState Transit in St. Louis, MO. He enjoyed building show cars and watching NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norbert and Lorranie nee Gischer, Cassady; and a daughter, Heather Cassady.

Surviving are his wife, Kim, nee Foster, Cassady; a daughter, Theresa (Gary) McFadin of Waterloo, IL; a brother, LaVern (Judy) Gischer of Granite City, IL; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth McFadin. He was also a dear uncle, cousin and friend.

Memorials may be made to the Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Christ United Church of Christ 200 South 3rd Street Dupo, IL.
