Doris I. Wilson, nee Pennock, 96 of Columbia, IL, born March 2, 1927 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Cedarhurst of Waterloo.

Doris worked for over 25 years at Nester Coldwell Banker Reality in Columbia, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Wilson; her parents, Ambrose and Gertrude, nee Ross, Pennock; three sisters, Nita Gunderson, Mary Jane Ball and Elizabeth Mehrtens; and four brothers; Kenneth "Joe", Marvin, Jewel "Buddy" and William "Bill" Pennock.

Surviving are her children, Caren (Edward Deatherage) Burggraf of Columbia, IL, Roger (Geraldine) Wilson Jr. of Carnesville, GA and Kevin (Sherry) Wilson of The Villages, FL; a sister, Clara Range of Columbia, IL; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Braun Family Funeral Home Columbia, IL. Funeral service will follow with Pastor Roger Reid officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Belleville, IL.
