Donald V. Moore, 83, of Cahokia, IL, born on July 26, 1939 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

Donald was a US Navy Veteran. He retired from Dow Screw Products in St. Louis, MO. He is a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Waterloo, IL. He loved fishing and was an avid bowler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bernitta Moore; a son, John Moore; two brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are his loving wife, Sandra Moore, nee Dietzel; children, Robert (Carol) Moore of St. Louis, MO, Christopher (Shevelle) Moore of Cahokia, IL, Kenneth (Nicole) Moore of Dupo, IL, Debbie (Andy) Blaisdell of KY, Donald Moore Jr. of KY, and David (Nikki) Moore of Belleville, IL. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donald was also a dear uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend to many.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Braun Family Funeral Home 265 Quarry Rd. Columbia, IL.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Reverend Merrit Demski officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory Belleville, IL.
