Donald R. Douglas, 71, of Columbia, Illinois, born November 2, 1952 in Rector, Arkansas, died Friday, October 18, 2024 at his residence.

Donald was retired from Walmart in South St. Louis County, Missouri.  He was also a welder and had worked in that trade.  He was an avid Elvis Memorabilia Collector.  Every since he was young, when his father worked for McDonnell Douglas, Donald had an interest in airplanes and would attend many air shows. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his parents,  Billy and Betty Jean, nee Stewart, Douglas and a sister, Robin Goldsmith.

Surviving are his niece, Tara (Jay Staley) Goldsmith of Belleville, IL and her children, Evan, Dylan, Makenzie, and Rowdy.

In following Donald's wishes a private cremation was to be held.
