Dixie "Louise" Stacy, nee Gober, 85, of Cahokia, Illinois, born December 24, 1932, in Vanduser, Missouri, died Sunday, September 23, 2018, at Belleville Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Stacy was retired from the Home Insurance Co. in Clayton, MO. She was a member of Jerome Lane Baptist Church, Cahokia, IL. Louise enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling around the country.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary, nee Cardin, Gober.
Surviving are her husband of 70 years, Jason B. Stacy; a son, Michael (Lee) Stacy of Cobb Mountain, CA; two grandchildren, Collin (Shanda) Stacy of Centreville, VA and Aubree (Bill) Gaynor of Suwanee, GA; and three great grandchildren, Cassidy, Wyatt, and Eleanor. She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend. Jason and Michael would like to thank the family members and friends who have helped them throughout Louise's long illness.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018, at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Elam officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
