Dennis O. Melton, 76, of Belleville, Illinois, born July 4, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri, died Saturday, November 13, 2021 at his residence.

Dennis was retired from Praxair in Cahokia, IL and was a retired school bus driver for Belleville School District 201 Transportation Dept.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kelzie and Zelma, nee Powers, Melton.

Surviving are his fiancee, Linda Seay of Belleville, IL; his, son, Michael (Crystal) Melton of Clarksville, IN; two brothers, Jim (Lana) Melton of Fenton, MO and Larry (Rhonda) Melton of High Ridge, MO; and three grandchildren, Shaun, Kaitlyn, and Ashley Melton. He was also a dear uncle, cousin, and friend.

In following in Denny's wishes cremation was to be done. No services are currently planned.

Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois was entrusted with the care of Mr. Melton.
