Dennis K. Kirchhoff, 63, of Cahokia, Illinois, born February 18, 1962 in Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Dennis was employed by Pacific Rail Services in Dupo, IL. He loved being outdoors, sitting on his patio and listening to his favorite music - on K-She 95, however, most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Kirchhoff, nee Singley; his father, George Kirchhoff, and his mother-in-law, Barbara Cable.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Sheila Kirchhoff, nee Brewer; his daughters, Amber (Dewayne Reid) Kirchhoff of Berwyn, IL, Alexis (BJ Hosler) Kirchhoff-Hosler of Shiloh, IL, and Sarah (Curtis) Shearrer of East Carondelet, IL; a brother, David (Liz) Kirchhoff of Belleville, IL; four sisters, Cheryl Myers of Belleville, IL, Phyllis (Dave) Narez of Belleville, IL, Diana Hargrove of St. Peters, MO, and Linda (Johnny Hewitt) Kirchhoff of Kansas; and three grandchildren, Bryce, Kye, and Abigail.  He was also a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Friends may visit from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 at the funeral home.
