Deborah K. Parsons, nee Brooks, of East Carondelet, Illinois, born September 1, 1952 in East St. Louis, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Mercy South Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Deborah was retired Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Parsons; a son, Timothy Parsons; a daughter, Shannon Parsons; a grandson, Mikah Parsons; a granddaughter, Jessica; her parents, Charles and Mary, nee McCune, Brooks; and a brother, Randy Brooks.

Surviving are her brother, Terry Brooks of St. Louis, MO; step daughter, Jennifer (Jim) Bursey of St. Clair, MO; sister-in-law, Misty Brooks of Dupo, IL; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In following Deborah's wishes a private cremation was held.   A Burial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Braun Family Funeral Home in Columbia, Illinois   A burial at Valhalla Gardens of Memory will be held at a later date.
