Deborah Kay Miller, nee Golightly, 69, of Cahokia, Illinois, formerly of Midwest City, Oklahoma, born July 10, 1952 in East St. Louis, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Debbie was loved animals, especially cardinal birds and elephants.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roger Miller; her parents, William R. and Beverly J., nee Pickering, Golightly; and two brothers, Richard and Vanas Golightly.

Surviving are her children, Dawn Miller of Arnold, MO and Johnny Miller of Oklahoma; her siblings, Cindy Golightly, David (Georgia) Golightly, Jeannie King, Donna Golightly, and Mike Golightly, all of Cahokia, IL, and Tricia Golightly of Clarksville, TN; and a grandson, Micah Miller. She was also a dear aunt, niece, cousin, and friend.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

In following Debbie's wishes she is to be cremated. The family will plan a Celebration of Life Service later in the summer.

Her family entrusted Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois with her care.
