Deborah "Debbie" L. Palmer, nee Kennedy, 64, of Dupo, IL, born March 13, 1957 in Belleville, IL, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO.

Debbie was employed by Fairmont Park Race Track for over 25 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Frances, nee Durham, Kennedy; and a sister, Sharon Frazier.

Surviving are her husband, Bruce Palmer; four children, Steve (Tiffany) Prater of Dupo, IL, Michelle (Danny Coss) Palmer of Chicago, IL, Jayme (Dennis) Kemp of Dupo, IL, and Stayce Palmer of Dupo, IL; a sister, Susan Hutchinson of Belleville, IL; and ten grandchildren, Sierra, David, Catalina, Kayla, Kyann, Daniel, Deegan, Keara, Jayden, and Emma. She was also a dear aunt, cousin, and friend.

Friends may visit from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Terry Haynes officiating. In accordance to Debbie's wishes cremation will follow.
