DAVID W. STEWART, 57, of Cahokia, Illinois, born August 6, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri, died Friday, September 1, 2017, at his residence.

David was formerly employed by Material Sales, St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Aline, nee Martin, Stewart, Sr. and a brother, Stephen Stewart.

Surviving are his children, David (Morgan) Stewart of Collinsville, IL, Nichole Kent of Cahokia, IL, Ashley Stewart of Belleville, IL and Justin Stewart of Cahokia, IL; his companion, Cindy Mobley of Cahokia, IL; four brothers, Donald (Irene) Stewart of Killeen, TX, Robert (Bonnie) Stewart of St. Louis, MO, Ronald (Sheryl) Stewart, Sr. of Collinsville, IL, and Daniel (Trudy) Stewart of Trenton, IL; a sister, Beverly Stewart of O'Fallon, IL; eight grandchildren, Chase, Aleshia, Bailey, Stephen, Luke, Brylee, Damian, and Astraea. He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.

In keeping with David's wishes his body was cremated. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Dupo American Legion Post, 200 So. Fifth St., Dupo, IL.
