David S. Salazar ,42, of Waterloo, IL., born December 24, 1975, in South Korea, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.

Mr. Salazar was employed by Ace Case in St. Clair, MO. He was an avid golfer and a member of the N.R.A.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Brenda Kreamalmeyer, paternal grandparents James and Fay Salazar; and his maternal grandmother.

Surviving are his loving wife of 18 years, Sarah Salazar, nee Kreamalmeyer; three sons, Tyler W. Kreamalmeyer of Waterloo, IL., Joshua S. Salazar and Justin D. Salazar, both of Waterloo, IL; his parents, James P. and Yong C. Salazar of St. Charles, MO; his father-in-law, Jerry Kreamalmeyer of Dupo, IL; a brother, Bruce (Jayne) Salazar of Columbia, IL; and three grandchildren, Jordan, Carson and Henry. He was also a dear uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend to many.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Monday, November 5, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Braun Family Funeral Home, 265 Quarry Rd., Columbia, IL. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. Private cremation will follow.
