It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Darla O'Guinn, who peacefully passed away in her home in Cahokia, Illinois on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the age of 64.

Darla was born in East St. Louis on August 27, 1960 to Ruben "Allie" and Marilyn, nee Gruen, O'Guinn and was raised in Cahokia, Illinois.

She was a graduate of Cahokia High School in 1978 and then proceeded to be self-employed in cleaning services. Darla had a love for making ceramics, going to the casino, listening to music and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Bruce, Deane and Dale O'Guinn.

Surviving are her children, Daniel (Emily) O'Guinn of St. Louis, MO and Amber Cash of Cahokia, IL; a brother, Allan O'Guinn of Texas; three sisters, Marilyn Largent, Donna O'Guinn, and Linda O'Guinn, all of Cahokia, IL; and three grandchildren, Charles, Heaven, and Scarlett. She was also a dear niece, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Darla's Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm. on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at the Dupo Quarterback Club, 1625 Bluffview Drive, Dupo, Illinois 62239.
