Curtis "Curt" McKenney, 73, of Cahokia, Illinois, born February 18, 1951 in Richmond Heights, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, October 3,2024 at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri.

Curt was retired from Schnucks Supermarket in Cahokia, IL.  Because of the fact that "he never met a stranger" and would talk to everyone, he was well known around the community. If you went to Schnuck's and knew Curt, you could not get out of there without Curt asking, "how's the family doing?"

Curt was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Victoria McKenney.

Surviving are his three sisters, Patricia Ann Vastine, Marlene Ann Smith, and Deborah Theresa Phelps; Nieces, nephews, and many friends, including his closest friend, Ken Spisak.

In following Curt's wishes a private cremation was held.
