Craig Ryan Chaput, 45, of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Waterloo, Illinois, born March 28, 1977, departed this life on Monday, July 11, 2022.

Craig was employed as a manager with White Castle the last 9 years of his life. He attended Waterloo High School and Rasmussen University. He was known for being passionate about his faith, giving to others, and spending his free time playing games and shooting pool with family and friends, however, his greatest love was being a father.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Francis Chaput. and a cousin, Katrina Welebob.

He is survived by grandmother, Helen Chaput; parents, Joe and Cindi Stonich; a daughter, Ava Chaput; loving partner and soul mate, Ashley Eskridge; a brother, Neil Loerch; a sister-in-law, Charissa (Bryan) Adams; aunts Denise (Kenny)Spisak, Kay (Don Busby) Chaput, Kelly (Chris) Waeltermann; uncles, Dennis (Debbie) and John (Sandy) Chaput; a; goddaughter; Candice Chaput, and a host of nieces, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Nashville, TN and from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia, Illinois. A Mass of the Christian Bural will follow at 12:00 noon, with Father Linus Umoren officiating. Burial will be in Palmier Cemetery, Columbia, Illinois.
