Cora Alberta "Betty" Duesing, 93, of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born August 19, 1925, in Dudley, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at St. Alexis Hospital, St. Louis,Missouri.

Mrs. Duesing was a former member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Cahokia, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Duesing, Sr; a daughter, Linda Duesing; her parents, Edgar and Lula Morris; two brothers, Richard and John Morris; two sisters, Stella Gilkey and Martha Woods; and a daughter-in-law, Beverly Duesing. Granddaughter Shelly Bess.

Surviving are her children, Barbara (James) Avett of Valparaiso, FL, Don H. Duesing of Union, MO, Betty J. (Robert) Stokes of St. Louis, MO, Patricia M. Duesing of St. Louis, MO, and Sandy J. (David) Aluoto of Irvine, CA; two sisters, Juanita Dodd of St. Louis, MO. and Buelah Wichmann of St. Louis, MO.2 sister-in-laws Mary Morris-Foland of Sorento, IL; and Joan Morris of Lenzberg, IL 13 grandchildren; many many great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren. She was also a dear aunt, cousin, and friend.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
