CLARENCE "ED" EDWARD PRICE, 73, of Owensville, MO, formerly of Cahokia, IL, born October 9, 1943, in Paragould, AR, died Monday, January 9, 2017, at Frene Valley of Owensville, MO.

Ed was retired from Wiese Planning and Engineering in Sauget, IL. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Cahokia, IL and the Cahokia Knights of Columbus. He was a former diver for the Cahokia ESDA team.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Salena Price; his parents, Arlie and Mary, nee Minor, Price; and two brothers, Raymond and Ison Price.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Linda Sue Price, nee Santagato; a daughter, Tamra (Louis) Bozada of Rosebud, MO; three sisters, Shirley Betz of Arnold, MO , Betty Brand of Cahokia, IL, and Helen (Paul) Brand of Mississippi; three grandchildren, Zachary Christopher Price, Ashlyn Joy Bozada, and Louis Marcus Bozada, III. He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society or the American Cancer Society.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, IL. Recitation of the Roasary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Funeral procession to leave at 9:40 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017, to Holy Family Catholic Church, Cahokia, IL, for a 10:00 a.m. Mass with Father Paul Wienhoff officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville, Illinois.
