Clara McCasland - Watts, nee Chartrand, 97, of Cahokia, IL. and Sun City West AZ.; born December 6,1924 in East St. Louis, IL. passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows.

Clara worked as an insurance underwriter at Crane Insurance Agency, St. Louis, MO. She was a member of Prince of Peace Church in Sun City West, AZ., and a lifelong member of Holy Family Church in Cahokia, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Norman McCasland and Jack Watts; sisters, Helen Cummins, Elsie Anderson, Louise Chartrand and Betty Hays; brothers. Frank Chartrand and Robert Chartrand.

Survived by stepson, Wayne (Beth) Watts; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews.

She was truly loved by her family and many friends.

Visitation on Tuesday February 22, 2022 from 4 to 7 P.M. at Braun Colonial Funeral Home Cahokia, IL.

Funeral procession to leave 9:45 A.M. on Wednesday February 23, 2022 from the funeral home to Holy Family Church, Cahokia, IL. for 10 A.M. mass with Msgr. John Myler and Father Osang Idagbo officiating. Burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
