Casimiro C. Garcia, Jr., MD, 81 of Columbia, Illinois, born February 5, 1940 in Pagsanjan Laguna, Philippines, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at his residence.

Dr. Garcia was an accomplished American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Certified Physician in Belleville, IL for 28 years - delivering thousands of babies. He was on the Medical Staff at Belleville Memorial Hospital, where from 1992 - 1994 he served as Medical Staff President. Dr. Garcia was a member of Life Church in Fenton, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Casimiro C. and Nellie C. nee Crisostoma, Garcia, Sr.; a sister, Vivian Garcia.

Surviving are his loving wife of 54 years, Theresa J. Garcia, nee Jenks; his children, Kristi (Mike) Lemp of Ballwin, MO, Tony (Andria) Garcia of Columbia, IL, and Dr. Joey (Jamie) Garcia of Gig Harber, WA; a brother, Ramon (Marina) Garcia of Huntington Beach, CA; two sisters, Josephine (Tony) DeGala of Pagsanjan Philippines and Dr. Yolanda (Dr. Paquing) Peralta of San Fernando, Philippines; ten grandchildren, and a great grandson. He was also a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Life Church, 1416 Larkin Williams Road, Fenton, Missouri. Burial will be in Palmier Cemetery, Columbia, Illinois.
