Carol J. Ford, nee Bell, 83, of Waterloo, Illinois, born May 8, 1940 in Roodhouse, Illinois, died Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri.

Carol was retired from Whitehall Coed and also worked at Community Care, both at Whitehall, IL.  She was a member Truth Church in Waterloo, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ina, nee Rutledge, Bell and a brother, Larry Lee.

Surviving are her husband, Jerry Ford; a daughter, linda (Eric) Mueller of Crystal Lake, IL; and a brother, Don Bell of Waterloo, IL.  She was also a dear aunt, cousin, and friend.

Friends may visit from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Truth Church in Waterloo, Illinois.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m. at the church, with Pastor Matt Caraway officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Williams- Edwards Cemetery in Roodhouse, Illinois.
