Carol T. Anderson-Elam 73 of Belleville, IL, born on October 1, 1947 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Thursday May 27, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Carol retired from Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL, were she worked as a CNA for many years. She was a member of Jerome Lane Baptist Church in Cahokia, IL. Avid yard saler.

Preceded in death by her two sons Tracy James Hanger & Chuck W. Anderson, her parents Reverend James & Geneva Davis, Pettigrew.

Surviving are her husband Pastor Richard Elam, her children; Rhonda (Robert) Franey of Tamaroa, IL, Andy (Jodi) Anderson of Charleston, WV, Eric (Candace) Anderson of Palm Springs, CA, Donna Mahserjian of Las Vegas, NV. One sister Brenda G. Mueller of Belleville, IL. 14 grandchildren; Stacy (Lyle), TeTe, Stephanie, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Eric, Erin (Michael), Anthony (Jersey), Gavin, Lexi, Alyssa, Christina, Makayla & Michael. 4 great grandchildren; Ellie, Charlotte, Karmah, Daisy and one on the way. Carol was a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation will be on Thursday June 3, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 p.m. at Braun Family Funeral Home 265 Quarry RD. Columbia, IL Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Sherman Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery St. Louis, MO. Braun Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Mrs. Anderson-Elam.
