Bryanna Leigh Bixler, 20, of Dupo, Illinois, born May 7, 1998 in St. Louis, Missouri, died Monday, August 27, 2018, in California.

Bryanna was a Day Care Teacher. She was a 2016 graduate of Dupo High School. She grew up playing softball and volleyball and participated in both sports in California.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Kathleen Schmidt, nee Haas and Estelle Ortiz, nee Blaylock.

Surviving are her parents, Michael L. and Jennifer A., nee Ross, Bixler, Jr. of Arnold, MO; a brother, Peyton Bixler of Arnold, MO; and her grandfathers, Michael L. (Sandy) Bixler, Sr. of Wisconsin and Bryan (Donna) Schmidt of Maplewood, MO. She was also a dear niece, cousin, and friend.

A private cremation was held.  A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 12:00 noon to 3:30 p.m., on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.  A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 3:30 p.m., with Pastor Kim Brinkmann officiating.
