Brenda M. Meinders, nee Bean, 64 of East Carondelet, IL, born October 8, 1957 in Eldorado, IL, passed away on Sunday January 2, 2022 at Memorial Hospital East.

Brenda worked at General American / Great West in St. Louis, Mo. She enjoyed playing washers, gardening and making crafts. She loved to be outdoors, fishing, camping and especially spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Bean; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Boyd and Mary Meinders.

Surviving are her husband, Chris Meinders; three sons, Chad (Jessica) of Wentzville, MO, Matt of East Carondelet, IL, Dan of Cahokia, IL; mother, Edith Bean of Mascoutah, IL; two brothers, Harold and Don Bean both of Mascoutah, IL; sister Linda Durbin of Mascoutah, IL; 11 grandchildren, Anthony, Ethan, Gavin, Ashton, Andrew, Madelyn, Brendan, Lukas, Ava, Bella and Emily; two great grandchildren. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Memorials for Brenda may be made to the family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Braun Family Funeral Home Columbia, IL. Funeral Service will follow with Pastor Steve May officiating.
