Bonnie L. Sapaw nee DeClue 89 of Cahokia, IL., born September 20, 1934 in Washington County, MO and passed away on January 13, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Bonnie was the owner/operator of Bonnie's Beauty Shop in Cahokia for over 26 years. She loved to watch the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues Games. she was an avid puzzle & word search book enthusiast, she loved yard sailing, baking and just spending time with family.

Preceded in death by her husband Wilburn L. Sapaw, her parents Leonard & Bessie Quillmann. 2 sisters & 4 brothers and a brother in law.

Surviving are her children; Richard Sapaw of Waterloo, IL., and Pam (Ed) Barrett of Cahokia, IL. 1 sister Goldie Inman of Boston, MA. 3 grandchildren; Megan (Zach) Rosenkranz of Cahokia, IL., J.D. Sapaw of Waterloo, IL., Josh (Kristen) Sapaw of Waterloo, IL. 3 great grandchildren; Abby, Connor & Rylee. Bonnie was a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Memorial may be made to Heartland Hospice.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Braun Family Funeral Home 265 Quarry Rd. Columbia, IL.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Roger Reid officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks Natl. Cemetery. St. Louis, MO.
